Changing Your Blog Address
Discovering that there was another art website with the same name as my blog, I was concerned about having inadvertently stolen the title. Following some advice given to me about my blog address being too long to remember, and the information at blogspot.com, I decided it would be a good idea to change the address and name of my blog. It looked to me like all the information and therefore the rankings etc, would all follow me to the new address, so I went ahead and made the change. Now I am back to square one. All the stats I had so patiently built up at http://sueellencowan.blogspot.com aka Art Bistro have all stayed behind with the name and the dead link. I am now having to rebuild all my traffic and notifying everyone I know of the changes. It was a much bigger job than I originally anticipated. I now have a domain name for my web gallery which I will be setting up asap with links to and from the blog. You can find me now at http://www.creakyeasel.com I truly need to hire a web expert to do all this stuff for me as I am not getting enough painting done which sooner or later will cause problems for me. Be very careful when making this type of decision.

Do you still have access to the old blog? If so, just post that you have moved to a new URL. My frist website URL was too long: www.jazgreenlivecashculture.net - the long URL now points to my current short URL http://jazlive.com/
